Holiday Club
Our free Holiday Club is run once a week during most school holidays. It creates a safe space for children to:
participate in meaningful activities
make friends and socialise
access lunch and snacks
and all of this is while developing social and communication skills and exploring new talents or interests.
Who is Holiday Club for?
Holiday Club sessions are booked and offered to families according to criteria. Priority will be given to those from lower income families, in receipt of pupil premium or eligible for free school meals.
Activities are free and suitable for children aged 6 and over in primary school.
For more information you can read our Holiday Club Terms and Conditions.
Upcoming dates for 2025 Holiday Clubs:
Activities are held at our Kids Inspire HQ, Hargrave House, Hollycroft, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, CM2 7FW
Time: 10:30am-3:30pm
October half term
Monday 27 October 2025 - Howloween with Essex Therapy Dogs
This October our Holiday Club is getting a very special visit from Essex Therapy Dogs — and a few of their furry friends! Children will have the chance to learn about the amazing work these dogs do, as well as enjoy stroking, grooming and even a little walk with them — plus some Halloween-themed fun along the way.
Dressing up for Halloween is encouraged, but completely optional!
Booking onto our Holiday Clubs
Expressions of interest for our October Holiday Club are now open until Monday 22 September 2025.
Please read our Holiday Club Terms and Conditions before completing a registration of interest form for your child or children.
Please also be aware that expressing interest does not guarantee your child’s place at our Holiday Club. We appreciate how popular our free activities are, and how quickly they get booked up. Our focus is on prioritising places for children from lower income families, those receiving pupil premium, or eligible for free school meals.
Spaces for our Holiday Club will be allocated and confirmed to you by Friday 3 October 2025.
Thank you for your understanding.
“The activities offered are incredibly creative and engaging, catering to a variety of interests and ages. It’s wonderful to see them explore new hobbies and interests in such a supportive environment.
Thanks to Kids Inspire, my girls have had countless hours of fun and unforgettable memories.”

Volunteer for a Holiday Club
‘Team Volunteers’ can come in and support the delivery of Holiday Club, either individually or as a part of a Corporate Team.
We welcome the opportunity to involve new volunteers in our popular outreach club, and encourage anyone interested to get in touch.
“Holiday Club is important for lots of reasons; for the social aspect, to encourage trying ‘new things’, for the provision of a tasty lunch, and to give parents a break during the holidays. Sessions are thoughtfully coordinated by our team and facilitated by carefully selected partner organisations, each running a host of fun activities.”
Holiday Club is only possible thanks to the generous support of our funders:
